Starting Prices
We are a custom (bespoke) wedding cake and bakes baker and decorator – a wedding cake artist. We have spent many years learning our craft, learning new ideas, new ways of doing what we do and we continue to hone our skills to up with the current trends to deliver the best cake and bakes for you and your wedding.
We bake all of our cakes and bakes from scratch, fresh local ingredients (no packet mixes here) for you and your guests at your upcoming wedding.
We are Council Registered, Fully Insured and have our Food Safety Certificate
Cakes
Every cake is individually made for you, for your wedding, to match in with your style, theme etc. and the variant of custom cakes is from the simple to the extreme – there are so many variables, size, flavour, design (wow so many designs) and the list goes on. So where do we start, we start with an idea, some information - for example the number of people your cake needs to feed, is it for dessert of just to have with coffee (these are smaller sized pieces of cake) at the end of the event, flavour profile, design - this has so many variables, so an inspirational picture is a good way to start (we do not copy your picture exactly, especially with the increase in Artificial Intelligence (AI) of cake pictures), etc. So let’s discuss how we can assist you in having a delicious and amazing cake that is going to work for you and your partner at your wedding.
The starting prices are an indication only for 4 layers of amazing vanilla bean cake, filled and covered with delicious vanilla bean buttercream. Our most common sized cake is 4 layers of cake filled with 3 layers of our delicious vanilla bean buttercream (or a little extra for our yummy chocolate ganache etc), and our double barrel cakes which are 6 layers of cake with 5 layers of buttercream (a lovely tall cake, a focal point for your wedding, which actually works best for a lot of designs and looks stunning).
6 inches (10 to 20 servings) $150
7 inches (15 to 30 servings) $170
8 inches (18 to 36 servings) $190
9 inches (22 to 44 servings) $210
10 inches (25 to 50 servings) $230
(Final servings will depend on the size of each portion when the cake is cut – for example, when a 6 inch round cake is cut into 1 inch by 1 inch pieces (noting the cake is 4 layers of cake and 3 layers of filling) then you will have 10 dessert sized serves, if you cut these in half then you will have 20 coffee size portions (1 inch by 1 inch by 2 layers of cake). If you were to cut the cake slices slightly larger then you may not get 20 dessert serves from your cake.
Tiered Cakes
Tiered cakes can come in a variety of combinations (other combinations, sizes and shapes also available) – the following starting prices is based your lovely cakes being 4 layers of scrumptious vanilla bean cake and 3 layers of our yummy vanilla bean buttercream (a little extra for our yummy chocolate ganache etc):
5 & 7 inch round (22 to 44 servings) $350
6 & 8 inch round (30 to 60 servings) $400
7 & 9 inch round (37 to 74 servings) $460
5, 7 & 9 inch round (44 to 88 servings) $600
6, 8 & 10 inch round (53 to 106 servings) $680
Cupcakes
Our cupcakes and mini cupcakes are slightly larger than the average size, our minimum order is 12 cupcakes and 24 mini cupcakes, with prices starting (for a one colour swirl or rosette on the top) at:
