Brownz Bakes is a home based, council registered, insured and food safety handling compliant boutique wedding cake, celebration cake and other bakes business based in Caloundra on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. We specialise in unique and modern wedding and engagement cakes, birthday, christening, baby shower and other celebration cakes – there is always a reason to have cake.

ABOUT ME
Hi, my name is Robyn and I am the owner operator of Brownz Bakes based in Caloundra on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. I love baking and have been baking and decorating cakes and bakes on and off over 30 years, mainly for friends and family, deciding to take the plunge and set up my home based business here on the Sunshine Coast in mid 2021.
At Brownz Bakes we love cake, well anything sweet (ask anyone that knows me) and I cannot get enough cake, such a great way to celebrate an event or a milestone - or just because you can, you do not really need a reason eat cake.
My other passion is making sugar flowers, I love how they can bring a cake to life and you can have peonies on your cake every month of the year – not just in November.

We deliver and set up your wedding cake at your reception venue for you, one less thing for you to worry about on your big day. We deliver and set-up your wedding and engagement cakes in locations from Brisbane to Noosa and everywhere in between.
Custom Cakes
We make all of our cakes to order, we are a scratch baker – meaning that everything is custom made from scratch for you and your order, as such custom cakes are not cheap – they are tailored for you and your event. While we do enjoy seeing your inspirational photos we will not copy them exactly – these should be provided for inspiration only to guide us in what you are thinking you might like. We will work with these inspirational pictures and make an amazing cake styled just for you.

Birthday Cakes
Love love love doing a children’s birthday cake – so much colour and so many different ideas, themes and styles to choose from. I know you will appreciate the time that goes into making your childs cake amazing just for them – please send through your inspirational pictures of what your child might like. Our starting prices for a buttercream covered 4 inch high cake – no decorations included – can be found on the pricing guide page. The smallest cake I make is a 6 inch round, 4 inch high cake – which is enough for 12 small slices of cake – or 6 nice dessert sized pieces.
Other Cakes
Other celebration cakes, adult birthday cakes, christening cakes, special event cakes, and the list goes on – I am sure we can assist you – so send through your ideas, themes etc and lets see what we can whip up for you.
Sometimes it’s as simple as a colour, an idea and the number of guests you are expecting and we can go from there and find some ideas that will work for you and your event.
